In India, many old factories are demolished to make room for new modern apartments - from the scrapyards, we buy and recycle this wood to make the dining tables in this collection. The wood comes from beams, ceilings and floorboards and is lovingly restored back to its former glory.

The pattern and patina of the wood showcases the furniture previous history, resulting in totally unique products. The craftsmanship that goes into our Factory Collection is second to none, providing top quality sturdy designs for bars, pubs and restaurants. 

The dining table pedestal metal base compliments the top perfectly and features the rustic appeal of vintage industrial furniture, which was popular in early 20th century.

The Factory Collection creates a sleek silhouette and enhances any interior style, regardless of whether that space is domestic or commercial.

30 day Returns

We want you to love your Smithers of Stamford item, but we understand that sometimes returns are necessary. If you change your mind, no worries – we offer a 30-day return guarantee.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Contact us within 30 days of receiving your item for an exchange or refund.
  2. Ensure items are unused, in perfect condition, with no damage (including the original box) and in a saleable condition.
  3. Pack the items carefully, just as they arrived.

Please note:

  • Original postage costs are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping costs can be arranged by us and deducted from your refund if desired.

To start your return, email us at info@smithersofstamford.comRefunds are processed within seven days of receiving your item, credited to your original payment method. Funds should reach your account within five working days after processing.

28 Day Refunds:

We hope you are happy with your product, but we understand that sometimes you might change your mind. Returns are not a problem at Smithers, as long as you follow our terms.

REFUNDS BEFORE DELIVERY 'UK ONLY:

If you wish to cancel your order once it's been placed and require a refund, this is ok up to 24 hrs after ordering with us. After this time has passed your item will be processing, so you will have to wait until you have the item to send back to us, then we will process your refund on return. If your item has not yet been collected from our courier we may be able to stop the delivery and will process the refund within 3-4 working days.

REFUNDS AFTER DELIVERY 'UK ONLY:

In order to receive a refund once you have received your item, the customer must contact us  within '28 DAYS' of receiving their order. Any email return request, after the period of 28 days this will be declined.

POSTAGE REFUND:

Returns must then be sent back to us within 30 days from delivery day. The product must be sent back in its [original box] and in a re-sellable condition - exactly as it arrived with you and unused in perfect condition. If you don't have the original box, then we cannot process a refund.

PLEASE NOTE: 

 As previously stated, all items must be sent back with the original box or a refund cannot be issued. 

HOW LONG DOES A REFUND TAKE:

Refunds take 3- 5 days to process with our accounts team and the original payment method will take 5-7 days to reverse back to your original payment method..

Important Notice for International Deliveries:

If the international recipient (you) refuses delivery of the shipment after two delivery attempts to your address, the parcel will be returned to us by DHL or FedEx.

In such cases:

  • Smithers of Stamford is not liable for the goods or the return shipping costs.
  • We are not responsible for unaccepted deliveries and will not issue a refund if you fail to accept your delivery.

FAULTY GOODS:

Made To Order items:

Custom commission orders that you made to us via email cannot be canceled after payment.

SMITHERS DELIVERY INFORMATION.

Shipping costs can vary based on item size, weight, and destination. Here's a general overview:

Within the UK:

  • Small Items: Typically range from £5 to £15. For instance, Royal Mail's 1st Class parcel service starts at £5.00.
  • Larger Furniture Costs between £15 and £45, depending on dimensions and weight. Service  options for items up to 80kg.

International Shipping:

  • Small Items: Generally range from £25 to £100. 
  • Large Furniture: Costs can vary significantly, typically between £100 and £500, influenced by size, weight, and destination.

What Delivery Service do we use?

We send small products with Royal Mail and Internationally with Fedex or DHL. Large furniture are sent with higher jump logistics.

One Address only per order:

All order postage is charged per one address.

Delivery Eta:

Once your order is received, we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

  • Order Confirmation:

  • You will receive an email from us on the same day of your order.
  • Delivery Times:

    • Furniture Orders: Typically delivered within 7–28 working days.
    • Smaller Items: Delivered within 2–7 working days.

Cornwall and Devon and Scotland, Ireland are subject to additional cost of postage as they are out of our delivery zone. Furniture deliveries are delivered to any room of your choice. 

NOT IN STOCK ITEMS:

'If an item is not in stock then we will let you know when it will be back in stock so that you have the opportunity to choose between cancelling your order or waiting for it.

Leaving without a signature?

Customers wanting parcels left next door or left on premises without signing for is at your own risk, and we won't be held responsible for loss or damage.

Check furniture size:

Please check the size of our furniture first before you make the order with us to make sure it does fit through your door, if items do not fit we are not liable to reimburse the delivery cost; the customer will be responsible for the outward journey and return postage fee, this will be deducted from the sale.

CHECK GOODS AFTER DELIVERY:

Please check the goods within 48 hours for damage. All parcels are also fully insured. Please report damage within 48 hours from the signature date, after this time or the claim will not stand and we will not be liable.

USA AND EU CHECK GOODS:
